Namur
Namur comes from a lineage of Shuar healers and wisdom keepers from the Ecuadorian Amazon. Introduced to Natem (Ayahuasca) at an early age, he began developing a relationship with the medicine as a child and was immersed in the teachings, songs, prayers, and traditions of his community throughout his life.
Over the years, Namur received guidance from respected elders and was entrusted with the ancestral practices of the Uwishin tradition. His path has also been enriched through learning from other Indigenous traditions, deepening his understanding of ceremonial work, spiritual practice, and service.
In addition to his roots within the Shuar tradition, Namur is a Vision Quester, Sun Dancer, and Star Dancer. He is deeply committed to preserving and honoring Indigenous wisdom at a time when many ancestral traditions face the risk of being lost. Through ceremony, music, and sacred song, he seeks to keep these teachings alive while creating opportunities for meaningful cultural exchange and healing.
Namur approaches his work with humility, integrity, and a sincere desire to serve others. He believes that healing begins with a willingness to look within, and he is dedicated to supporting those who feel called to undertake that journey. His ceremonies are grounded in respect for the medicine, the traditions from which it comes, and the unique path of each participant.
Those who sit with Namur often describe him as compassionate, steady, and deeply present. Though gentle in his approach, he carries a quiet strength and wisdom that helps create a safe and supportive ceremonial space. His connection to the medicine is profound, and his ceremonies offer a powerful opportunity for healing, self-discovery, and transformation.
