Booking Your Ceremony

Walk the Path with the Shuar
Tuna Karamamu:
It is the ritual of walking to the highest mountain, where the waterfalls are found. For the Shuar people, the waterfalls are sacred—they are the home of Arutam and of the spirits of our ancestors. For this reason, we visit the waterfalls is to seek guidance and to ask the elders for permission to perform the ritual of Natemamu (the drinking of Ayahuasca).
Itinerary:
August 9, 2026:
Arrival at the site in the evening.
Informational briefing with participants.
August 10, 2026:
Hike to the waterfall (ritual bathing at the waterfall).
In the evening, administration of the NATEM medicine (Ayahuasca).
August 11, 2026:
Return to camp and commencement of the NATEMAMU (does not contain DMT).
August 11–14, 2026:
Drinking of NATEMAMU (does not contain DMT).
August 15, 2026:
Morning — conclusion of the rituals.
